Division of Molecular Biology

The division was founded by Professor Hans Tuppy as the Institute of Medical Biochemistry of the University of Vienna. Now, some 50 years on, the division teaches life sciences to medical students and performs top-class research on areas ranging from human pathogens, sub-cellular structures and gene expression.
